Movie Synopsis:

After years of bare-knuckled prizefights and a disastrous affair with the conniving Maxine (Kellerman), Jack Dempsey seems destined for a lifeof poverty and obscurity. But when he's discovered by manager Doc Kearns (Waterston), Dempsey's true destiny is finally unleashed, winning him the world heavyweight title! But that was only the beginning for Dempsey, whose life became a whirlwind of legendary bouts, fame, women, scandal and a legacy as one of the greatest fighters of all time!
