Vinyl Records:

Vinyl Record grading is subject to opinion, all records we sell have been visually graded using OUR grading guide below, make sure to properly clean your records before playing them, (as everyone should do for every record they purchase) we do not clean them ahead of time unless they look like they need it.

We do not guarantee any record we sell will work properly on any modern "cheap" record players (Victrola, suitcase players, record players with no tone arm weight adjustment etc etc), these players are intended to be used with modern pressed heavyweight records and can easily experience problems with older Vinyl records, we will not accept any returns for records being bought to play on these types of record players.

Vinyl Grading Standards:

M = Mint : A record that looks brand new like it was just taken out of the sleeve and never played, the cover will be the same.

NM = Near Mint : A record that may have a couple very light marks that do not affect playback at all, the cover may have a couple very light blemishes, if not for these issues it would look like new (Mint)

VG+ = Very Good Plus : A record that will have a small amount of light surface marks that may have some light noise most notably during quieter passages and between tracks, however while the noise can be audible it will not over power the music, a slight warp that does not affect the sound may also be present, the label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and Album covers will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up or "bumped" corners, light creasing or a slight seam split, they may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner, it will not however have all of these defects at once.

VG = Very Good : Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be more evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but again will not overpower the music, groove wear will start to be noticeable that can lightly affect the sound, Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or Album covers.

G / G+ = Good/Good Plus : A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping and it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

P / F = Poor/Fair : The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is heavily water damaged, has large tears, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
