Gatefold cover. Side 1 and 2 originally issued as "Portrait in Jazz". The two takes of "Autumn Leaves" first appeared on Riverside 315 and Riverside 1162 (stereo) versions of the album. Side 3 and 4 originally issued as "Explorations" (Riverside 351) except for "The Boy Next Door", which was not released at that time because the artist was not fully satisfied with it. The producer has chosen to include it now to demonstrate how well even a self-considered lesser Evans effort stands the test of time.
