Notes:
Gatefold cover. Custom gold-foil BIS "DMM" sticker on front cover. Issued with a DMM "Teldec Technology" lined inner sleeve. Symphony No. 4 was composed in 1943, with this new version prepared in 1978. It was first performed and recorded November 5, 1981, at Grieg Hall, Bergen, Norway. (Recording date incorrectly listed in the credit section as November 5, 1982. The date is correctly stated in the liner notes.) The liner notes state that this release is the first time that any of Tubin's symphonies have appeared on record. This statement is inaccurate, cf 552405.
