This is the 2nd generation of the purple label of Canadian pressing. Variations for the purple label: #1-Purple label with large Capitol logo, has the Capitol script-font logo in the perimeter print: 1977 #2-Purple label with large Capitol logo, has a softer purple background with no Capitol logo in the perimeter print. The perimeter print states "Manufactured in Canada By Capitol Records", 1978 #3-Purple label similar to #2, but has "Manufactured And Distributed in Canada UNDER LICENSE by Capitol Records-EMI...." in perimeter text. 1980 #4- Purple label is noted for the scripted Capitol logo on text perimeter on Side B. Also has the capitol 'target' logo in the deadwax on Side A followed by Wally MASTERED BY CAPITOL. It also does not state "Distributed by" anywhere on this version. On spine: "ER Printed in Canada " followed by the Capitol scripted logo. 2nd catalog number SMAS 2653 appears on rear sleeve, top right corner.
