Although the song title "Danke Schoen" is displayed prominently on the front cover, and advertisements on the back covers of other Wayne Newton albums released by Capitol Records refer to this album under the title "Danke Schoen," the disc labels and LP cover spine of the actual release refer to the title as simply "Wayne Newton." The Goldmine Standard Catalog of American Records also refers to this release as "Danke Schoen." Release date is not indicated on product itself. A machine stamped triangle with the initials IAM appears on the matrix/runout. The spelling of track A on the sleeve and label should be 'Danke Schön' which is the proper German spelling of the song by Bert Kaempfert.
